Here I am working on the area of the rim and neck to adjust misaligned joins. The vessel form is Incan, but the surface treatment and some other characteristics are not. It is thought that perhaps this is a hybrid form of an aribalo which combines styles from the Inca, who conquered the area in the 1500's, and the local indigenous populations, known as the Cayambes.</image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T01:31:20+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2011/08/04/archaeological-conservation-in-northern-highland-ecuador/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/10131_864443840476_2507978_49275380_3922967_n.jpg</image:loc><image:title>10131_864443840476_2507978_49275380_3922967_n</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T01:30:43+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2014/03/29/how-do-you-mount-several-tiny-samples-together-very-carefully/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/lofkend-samples.jpg</image:loc><image:title>lofkend-samples</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T01:22:22+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2012/06/11/backyard-archaeology-at-the-villa-ranch-house/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/ucla_getty_burying.jpg</image:loc><image:title>ucla_getty_burying</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T00:50:20+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2010/06/18/whats-simmering-in-that-beaker-understanding-ancient-technology-by-manufacturing-pigments/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/ucla_elizabeth_drolet.jpg</image:loc><image:title>ucla_elizabeth_drolet</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T00:48:14+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/about/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/10001486_559415157490716_4380844130851365447_n.jpg</image:loc><image:title>10001486_559415157490716_4380844130851365447_n</image:title><image:caption>Helping to excavate some fragile finds at the Zita Project in the Archaeology, Anthropology &amp; Ethnography of Southern Tunisia, 2013</image:caption></image:image><lastmod>2018-04-23T00:34:11+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.6</priority></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2015/07/10/animal-vegetable-mineral-identifying-mystery-fibers-in-the-field/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mysteryfiber-fig10.jpg</image:loc><image:title>mysteryfiber-fig10</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-03-03T07:01:26+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com/2010/12/30/powdery-paint-consolidation-part-i-setting-up-an-ultrasonic-humidifier-and-nebulizer/</loc><image:image><image:loc>https://saltysherds.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/powdery-paint.jpg</image:loc><image:title>powdery-paint</image:title></image:image><lastmod>2018-03-01T07:01:23+00:00</lastmod><changefreq>monthly</changefreq></url><url><loc>https://saltysherds.com</loc><changefreq>daily</changefreq><priority>1.0</priority><lastmod>2020-01-20T05:04:12+00:00</lastmod></url></urlset>
