About

Welcome! I am an art conservator who specializes in the conservation of archaeological objects.  I work in the field conserving objects on archaeological excavations as well as those housed in collections at museums or other institutions. My research interests focus on the technology and deterioration of archaeological objects, in particular glass and metal artifacts, conservation education and outreach.  The purpose of this blog is to share some of my work from field projects, treatments and research. An attempt will be made to have serious and thought-provoking posts on various conservation-related topics, but there is no guarantee that will actually happen.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my site!
